Invisibility

April 4th, 2013

Every time I see an article on the invisibility of women writing SF, I get an image of me as the donkey in Shrek, jumping up and down behind the crowd, yelling “read me!”

Not very dignified, I know.

Did you know I have a new science fiction novel out?

😉

Yup, *I* know. I’ve never seen Shrek, and thanks to your mental imagery I think I’ll take a pass on it. 🙂

Awww…Shrek is hilarious. The sequels, not so much (though I think I only saw one).

Bought and read “The Red”….is there a sequel in the works?

Was a real page turner…for me was right up there with other military SF – better than a lot. of it coz the writing was tighter so much of the genre focuses on bang and blood and not on people. I thought this gave a good balance over the lot.

and congrats on getting a slot on Charlies blog…the only place you’ld get more exposure would be Whatever…

Once I’ve re-read the Deception Well series I’ll give your fantasy books a go

    keep on writing

    all the best

Thanks Mike! Much appreciated. I still wonder how smart it was to try my hand at military SF, but I really enjoyed writing this book. And yes, there is a sequel in the works, to be called The Red: Trials. I hope you enjoy the other books!
